A Day in the Life of a Casa Canine

7a.m.-8a.m.: Buenos dias, Canines! After morning potty time in the yard, canines are each fed breakfast (food provided by client), per Care Card instructions. The dogs are supervised and kept separated for safety. After eating, we go back out in the yard again for potty time, then go in the dayroom/kitchen area to rest and allow the meal to digest.

9a.m.: Casa Canines go on their morning outing to the field. They play, run, explore, chase each other, fetch tennis balls...a great way to start the day!

Noon: Snack time! Canines enjoy a biscuit, then it's siesta (nap) time!

The rest of the day consists of Fiestas (play time) and Siestas (nap time). Dogs can play with toys and run around in the yard. There are usually a few outings to the field. We play fetch with tennis balls and frisbees. And, of course, we give lots of pets, hugs, and kisses! Canines have access to the dayroom/kitchen area and bedrooms if they choose to snooze. Or, some dogs rest on the sundeck, some on the patio, some in the yard. There are plenty of shady areas outdoors, and fresh water is provided all day long. We also have the kiddy pool during warm weather.

4p.m.-5p.m.: We start to wind down and prepare for dinner time around 4:00. Dinner is served around 4:30 or 5:00.

5p.m.-8p.m.: We rest after the meal. TV is on for the evening. Later, in the warm months, we might take a hike in the field if the dogs are still energetic, or we can play and visit in the yard, too!

8p.m.: Dogs rest for the evening. They curl up on cozy beds and blankies. TV is kept on until bedtime.

10p.m.: Final potty time and bedtime. Buenas noches, Canines.
