Maggie-
ADOPTED!!!! Maggie went to a wonderful new
home.
*This
sweet, active girl needs a special, loving home!*
Maggie first came to our rescue group described as an Australian
Shepherd mix. But, due to her appearance and health issues, we
believe she is a double dilute collie. A double dilute is the
result of the improper and dangerous breeding of a merle with
a merle. Results may include a dog that is deaf and/or blind.
Maggie is blind (though she can see some light) and her hearing
is impaired. She also has a seizure disorder which will require
monitoring and possibly eventually lead to treatment with phenobarbital.
Maggie therefore has special needs and requires a safe and attentive
home. Once she learns her environment, she manages to romp around
and have a great time. She loves to play with other dogs, but
still needs some work on her playtime manners. She is currently
doing well in a special obedience training program that is also
helping to socialize her to new people and situations. She is
fully housebroken and crate trained. She is affectionate and loving,
not to mention a total cutie pie! Please give this special girl
a forever home! With love, patience, and guidance, Maggie will
make a wonderful addition to the right home!

Java-
ADOPTED!
*Although
this sweet girl is 8 years old, she still has lots of energy and
lots of love to give!*
Java
needs to find a new home as her previous owner works long hours
and does not have time to care for Java. She has been with the
same owner since she was a puppy and was raised in a loving home.
This 8 year old golden retriever mix is a sweet, well-behaved
girl. She loves to give kisses and get hugs. She does well with
children and cats, and enjoys the company of other dogs. She enjoys
many activities such as swimming, hiking, fetching, walking, and
car rides. She is housebroken and knows several commands, so she
is ready to become a happy member of your family!

Sally-
ADOPTED!
*This
sweet older gal is seeking a nice home for her golden years!*
Sally
was taken in as a stray by the Humane Society, so we don't know
her history. What we do know is that Sally is a cute, sweet, senior
citizen canine who loves to be by your side. Sally has done great
with other dogs and seems to be fine with cats. She loves to trot
around the field. Mostly, she enjoys our company and loves affection.
The shelter thought Sally is about 13 years old. She does seem
rather spunky for her age, though. Her breed is not certain, but
probably some sort of terrier or wolfhound mix. She has good manners
and a calm disposition. She barks to let you know she wants something,
often her meal or to go outside for potty or a walk.

Pudge-
ADOPTED!
*This
one year old German Shepherd/St. Bernard mix is a sweetie. He
would make a great family dog!*
Pudge
lost his home since the family lived in an apartment, and the
landlord decided to no longer allow pets. He lived with children
so would do well in a home with kids.
Pudge
gets along great with other dogs and likes to play. He is very
well-mannered and know commands such as sit, lay down, and shake!
His history with cats is unknown. He is neutered, housebroken,
and crate trained. Right now he has dry skin, and though we do
not know the cause, hopefully with good quality food and flea
control, his skin will improve.
